Fantasy Dance School & My YouTube Experiment

It’s no secret that I just love going to the dance school - I don’t go to dance, mostly I go for the social aspect of it. You meet fantastic people and Jamie’s school is truly a viby place! The type of place that makes you realise that there are still awesome people in this world!

Some amateur video footage (I have had the camara for two years and I have never used the video side of it - so bear with the beginner.)

PS I think I might becoming a smart ass! Or is everything on the web becoming simpler?

  1. Hmmm, sadly it’s not workin.
Clicking on the video has no effect other than making me sit and wait in anticipation…..

  2. btw, I have found that when I insert video html code into my wordpress blog it (some crucial bits anyway like the tags) gets stripped out when switching to the preview.
My way round it is to edit it in the HTML view, then save without previewing.

  3. Doesn’t seem to work here either. That’s why I hate WYSIWYG editors and always write all my blog posts in pure HTML. It typically generates much cleaner code too, not like most people care, but I like good quality.

Personally I think YouTube’s code itself isn’t that clean and I would rather just link to the YouTube video than try to embed it.

  4. So much for my smart-ass comment - was so chuffed when everything worked last night - Abz even watched it in CT…

Ok. Charl there is no way that this Feisty impatient chick is writing anything in pure HTML (it’s time consuming… and slightly boring.. I’ll leave it for web perfectionists and blogging machines!)

So Imel..You need to expand on the vagueness (could have been blond, I guess). I specifically turned off the WYSIWYG editors…as I watched the YouTube instuction video. (So much for that). What needs to be edited and how?

  5. may not be your dodgy blogging skills, but rather your dodgy YouTube skills.
I cannot view it directly on YouTube either (using this link: http://www.youtube.com/jp.swf?video_id=XSlk_GoCgp0)

  6. @Bev: Hey, I am blond! Literally (hopefully not figuratively too)… :D

  7. Well, if I want to pick on my favourite blogging machine - I definately won’t call him blond (and I think you safe if you a man…blond jokes only hold true for most women)

I feel all sulky now - my YouTube skills suck… poor me… I blame sleep depravation.

  8. Why not try Zoopy? :)

Not like I would know; I never created a movie and never tried to upload one either to anywhere. :)
