Internet Marketing Seminar
FeistyFemale had the privilege to attend the Internet Marketing Seminar presented by Tresblue in conjunction with George Tourism last week. Although already an Internet addict I decided that there is always something new to learn - and was I right!
The interactivity between the local Tourism members and Gerry was astounding. The audience had very little experience with the web, the complexities and the potential behind it. Gerry managed to simplify and condense web concepts and terminology effectively and simply. He truly bridged the knowledge gap with grace - what an excellent speaker! I found it completely inspiring to see how excited attendees was by the knowledge they acquired and how creativity kicked in to utilise their newly acquired knowledge and skill.
What made this a very special seminar to attend was the fact that it focused on tourism establishments within the area. It is a fantastic workshop for those tourism related establishments in need of Internet and web 2 skills to start going global! I was impressed with local tourism’s initiative and their truly positive approach toward Internet marketing. Well done to Tresblue and George Tourism for this awesome project!
