27 Dinners Rock!

I must admit I was relieved and excited when I heard that the 27 dinner was indeed taking place this month. I am a big 27 dinner fan! It’s not exactly the average networking event. The 27 dinner to me, is an event that represents some of the most creative, talented, and brilliant beings in our country. It’s an event where working relationships are established, partnerships are forged, talent is both hunted and appreciated and it is an event where amazing friendships are formed. Frankly this is an invaluable event.

This months 27 dinner was no different and lived up to all my expectations. There is most definately an unexplainable energy present at these event. A special thank you to Dave “project managing” this months event [again]. A big wave to Mr Mike Stopforth who jet-setted from Jozi to attend the event – always a pleasure seeing you. Some familiar faces as usual: Charl and Jayx [they love coming to CT, rumour has it their road trips are always mmm, memorable!], Robyn, Scott, Eric, Graham, Chris, Kerry-Ann, and Paul always great seeing you.

And what would a networking even be without some new introductions – offline that is. Finally got to meet Charl Norman, Adii [my favourite Wordpress designer by far], Sherry & Gavin Levin, Carlos Tim and Garrick from Quirk, as well as Brandon Golding.

I apologise if I didn’t get to chat to everybody, Cath and I needed to get through some work and thus bailed before dinner. Trust that we will catch up at the next event.

It it most definately a fantastic and worthwhile event to attend. All you need is a passion for geeks, the online realm, social media, development, marketing and an obsession with innovation and you set! Looking forward to a new era of 27 dinners. Add your name to the next event, space is limited!
