Carte Blanche debate: link list for “mainstream” mortals

For my “mainstream audience” and not for the pro bloggers that have talked about this all day. ;-)

The debate below is a perfect example of why blogging is exciting - nothing like online debate to make a Monday interesting! In my rush to get things done and be efficient I miss a lot of online action, so I can’t imagine what it must be like for the average person to keep tabs on online activities. I thought I’d list the links to the Carte Blanche debate for the ordinary, working, mainstream mortals out there, that haven’t mastered RSS feeds and don’t track the online world with a furious addiction.

Most definately worth a read as it is a worthy debate. In addition I guarantee you will have a laugh or two reading the comments on these posts:

Nic Haralambous

Rafiq Phillips
Melissa Attree

Chilibean

Will add the links as they unfold…

  3. Man, this has become a free for all gang fight. I still maintain: What we term this has no influence on the consumer (ie the viewer of the show). What is important is that we keep creating ways for consumers to take interactivity to the next level.

I’ll be coining a phrase right here right now, because I can. It’s for my upcoming TV show: Who’s Web Is It Anyway?

  4. Ahhh, what’s more, after seeing you titled your post for mainstream mortals: If we could’ve left the Carte Blanche episode as is and rendered some constructive additions to their shortcomings, things might have been different.

Imagine for a second your “mainstream mortals” go through this load of hogwash. They’ll revert back to watching Carte Blanche again. Talk about confusing. We can’t even agree among ourselves.

No good can come of this. The quicker people forget about the terms and phrases and just get cracking on funding my show “Who’s Web is it Anyway?”, the better for our mainstream mortals and my sanity.
