Winecountry competition - hot, hot, hot!

I am a wine lover! There I said it – I took the bold move and announced it to the world. This is probably why I am such an avid Winecountry reader – not only is it an interesting, relevant and extremely educational blog, but they run amazing weekly competitions. Normally I would not enter competitions, but the fact that it’s online and oh, so easy, has encouraged me immensely! Who would have thought that this could end up on your weekly to-do list?

The latest Winecountry competition caught me hook, line and sinker! If you look at the prize you can understand why everybody is entering and why people really want to win this! 1. Hey Bev, thanks for the mention. I really believe these are awesome prizes and people not familiar with Paarl would be really impressed with our wine culture and beauty. Just last night I drove over Franschhoek pass and the view is absolutely astonishing driving down into Franschhoek at sunset.

For a moment I thought about how Franschhoek’s location might overshadow Paarl’s, but then, as I drove into the longest main road in the country…green trees hugging the road on either sides with the old Cape Dutch, Victorian and Edwardian buildings moving past my windows, I just knew that we have he most beautiful wine country in the world.

Excuse the promotion of our region ;-)

  2. @Henre No excuse needed! Paarl is absolutely magical!

  3. Next time when you pop in…and I’m not down with the stomach bug, I shall take you on a trip to the magical wineries that make this place awesome.

  4. Ooooh. Thanks for the heads up … sounds like an easy competition to enter with a truly fantastic prize :)

  5. @phillygirl You have to enter this - think luxury and pampering!
