In Just Me

It was manic in Mossel Bay! Here is the summary:
Fantastic seeing my family - I really missed them!
Apart from the usual daily beach run, I ran from Vleesbay to Boggoms Bay in record time one evening – a night run was an interesting experience.
I attended Fantasy Dance Schools’ first social – it was awesome! I can still move!
Had a screaming moment whilst grocery shopping with Jamie. A man “approached” us [sexy ladies] for some culinary advice – my sis without skipping a heartbeat told him that he shouldn’t ask two girls standing in front of the cup of snack - “where you just add water!” The finest comeback to a pick-up line I have seen in years!
I discovered the Style channel and learned that my drama queen skills did not vanish – I am able to mimic the presenters with precision and provide my family with endless entertainment doing so.
My favourite program: ipropose - dazzling to watch men conquer their fear of heights and then popping the question all in one go… two tough moments in one day… it must make for a good show!
I learned that I still despise being disappointed – but that my handling of it is improving ever so slightly. I feel that I should be issuing people in contact with me a formula on how to disappoint me… e.g. “I am sorry I can’t… but I will…to make up for it!” [Can see my closest friends who have experienced my wrath nodding and grinning at this paragraph!]
Of course it is 2008 and I adopted a kick ass can’t get me down attitude so to turn disappointment into positive experience I stopped at Gouritz on my way back from George and bridge-swinged. [Bridge swinging is not the same as bundy… rather disappointing if you have done the latter].
So now it is back to reality! I look forward to actually creating something of substance this month and producing some dazzling results!
