Vocabulary game donates rice through UN World Food Program

If you enjoy word games such as Boggle or Scrabble, love writing, reading, playing, learning or blogging then the Freerice site is for you!

CONCEPT

For each word that you get right while playing the game, twenty grains of rice is donated through the UN World Food Program. This is done through sponsors that support both learning [free vocabulary for everyone] and reducing hunger [free rice for the hungry].

WHY YOU SHOULD PLAY

You can learn new vocabulary which ultimately helps you formulate and express your ideas better. You can write better papers, emails, business letters and even speak more persuasively. You have a better comprehension of what you are reading and will increase your reading speed. Frankly you are learning to set yourself apart by being a more powerful communicator which will make you more successful at what you do.

A friend of mine pointed me in the direction of Freerice, with the words “even procrastinators can do their bit”. I think he might have had a good point. I believe in playing and having lots of fun! Why not play on Freerice and contribute to a worthy cause while enriching yourself?
