Flying Solo - My Experience

My personal highlights:

  • Bumping into Alan from Peer Power
  • Spending time with the three dazzling damsels Max, Pam and Jo who made Flying Solo Cape Town a roaring success.
  • Pulling faces at my partner while she was to absorbed to pick it up.
  • Rafiq made my day - talk about “fresh” presentation content.
  • Finally met Jamaal.
  • I got to interact with lots of smart people!

Things I learned today:

  • I don’t have to fear SARS!
  • Accountants and bookkeepers are far cheaper in Cape Town than George. Weird isn’t it?
  • Quality Street sweets have the ability to go viral…
  • There are people that like toffee Quality Streets sweets. I think that is strange.

Quote of the day.

“Doing things with a dial-up mindset in an ADSL world.” Rafiq Phillips, The Stirrer.
