Global Dinner - Girls need to have fun!

I attended the Global Dinner last night with a bunch of mind-blowing woman. It’s a great feeling to sit at a table with great entrepreneurial, free-thinking and inspirational creatures.

Their thoughts, experience and input has really contributed to my development and way of thinking. So apart from the exciting ideas, collaboration and tip sharing we had tons of fun. Scattered and completely random report back (on the lighter side of life):

  • The girls ogled my FeistyFemale [pink] bag. Honestly that bag has gotten more compliments than my new hair-do.
  • Kerry-Anne, Vanessa and Pam want Web 1.0 back. They are willing to petition.
  • The psychology of the Facebook poke formed an in-depth discussion. The consequences of random poking need further investigation.
  • Pam suggested that a Worsie Visser Salsa CD might be a money maker! In actual fact she is willing to bet on the fact that there is a market/demand for it.
  • Jo sang us her rendition of You are just a low res jpeg . A talented geek girl indeed!
  • I declared that I listen to Nicolous Louw’s music (he is slightly hot). I had to trade Pam for her disclosure on listening to Bollywood music as happiness medicine.
  • Kerry-Anne vowed to only take and post cute pics of us all. [Herewith our permission to photoshop any weight and flaws away.]
  • Caroline promised me an outing to Moyo. Yippee!
  • Vanessa and I decided it was about time we take over the world…
  • I learned NOT to EVER call Shani  cute! [She will make you take it back!]
  • I was in trouble [mortified] to realise that I was not following Jo on twitter. This has been rectified!

A big thank you to the girls: Jo, Pam, Kerry-Anne, Vanessa, Caroline and Shani for making it a fun evening!

  3. oh the non-geek wine diva can’t even post a comment without posting it twice. Will make up for my lack of web 1.0, 2.0, x.0 interest with some good wine and dine in the real world… bye now, will stop comment spamming now…
