This is the first auto-responder I’ve ever used, I got some hilarious feedback on it! I  was also asked to publish it on my blog:

This is the first time I am using an auto-responder. That’s because I haven’t been on a decent holiday in five years.

I am taking two weeks (14 whole days) off. I will not be working, blogging or even assisting with anything that can be remotely tied to the word work. I will be lying in the sun sipping virgin Mojitos.

In attempt to be energized, revitalized, bubbly and more powerful in 2009, I will be doing a life overhaul and some personal reinvention. Essentially I will be re-aligning my mind to a state of complete Zenness. Please be patient with the process and do not disturb me.

In the case where you do need to reach me, bear in mind that an emergency involves the term “life-support”. Alternatively you can call me if you have been given the responsibility of informing me that I have won a bizarre amount of money which will allow me to live a life of leisure and the opportunity to start any startup at a whim for the rest of eternity. In these two cases I can be contacted on my mobile, 084 xxx xxxx.

I will be available via email, skype, gtalk, twitter, facebook, friendfeed, flickr and mobile on the 5th of January. Naturally I will respond in my crazy, sporadic, spontaneous, unrevised way. However I do reserve the right to delete email I don’t deem worthy (aka profitable) on the 5th of January 2009. Naturally the jokes, chain letters, rude, illogical or erratic emails will be annihilated without a second thought or a hint of guilt.
