Bob get’s business right

I don’t read, I study. I “read” non-fiction. Not only do I scribble in the sides but I actually go the whole nine yards and make notes. When I say the blandness of most business-related content got the better of me months ago, I mean it. Generally business content is interesting but not exciting.

Today Bob Parsons, founder of Go Daddy started following me on Twitter (a reminder that social media is a numbers game). This pointed me to his site that has given me a glimmer of hope that business related content can indeed be funky and fun. It’s also an excellent example to look at if you are the CEO of a company entering the Social Media space.

Bob’s site is special – it’s brave, bold, refreshingly different and grabbed me from the word go. It’s not only because I’m a bike-loving, fearless, feisty, business-obsessed female – the site truly is captivating. Maybe it’s the American way?

Women will have to look past the bimbos in the videos (I’m sure the men will manage) – rest assured it’s well worth the struggle. The content provides solid advice that is both practical and entertaining. A video blog with spunk!
